This conservatory has been given a bright new lease of life with the installation of a modern glass roof, replacing the original polycarbonate system that had started to limit both light and comfort within the space.
The existing frames – originally installed by us over 10 years ago – were still in excellent condition, so a full replacement wasn’t necessary. Instead, we carried out a straightforward roof upgrade, instantly improving thermal performance while significantly reducing noise from rain.
The difference in natural light is immediately noticeable, with the new glazing allowing daylight to flood the room and create a far more open feel. Combined with the quieter environment and improved heat retention, the space is now comfortable and usable all year round as a relaxing lounge area.
