Polycarbonate Roofs

For a bright and cosy conservatory

Polycarbonate roofs have been a staple for conservatories for many, many years – and it’s easy to see why. Lightweight, durable and excellent at retaining warmth, polycarbonate is an effective and affordable roofing material.

The Ultraframe polycarbonate we employ ups the game considerably in terms of strength, low U-values, and reducing solar transmission. Conservatories should be a retreat where you can escape from the hustle and bustle, and at Alexander Windows we want to make that possible for you.

From the early consultation stages and throughout the entire installation, we’ll be there to ensure that you are happy with the service we’ve provided and that your every need is addressed.

Why Polycarbonate?

  • Quick and simple to install
  • Suitable as a replacement roof or as part of a new conservatory
  • Compatible with most uPVC windows
  • Our roofs employ the latest technology for enhanced quality and performance
  • Durable, shatterproof and lightweight

Choice

There are a number of finishes available as part of our polycarbonate roof range, from a gentle bronze to a bright opal. Each finish achieves something slightly different in terms of performance, and we’d be delighted to talk you through the options.

Technology

Ultraframe consists of a series of insulating chambers, which helps retain the heat in your conservatory.

We also recommend considering the Solarguard option to further reduce solar heat gain and provide extra privacy.

Low-maintenance and versatile

Our polycarbonate roofs offer superb thermal efficiency and strength. Choose from a range of finishes, all available to complement conservatories of all colours, from white to anthracite grey.

Climate control with Solarguard

Your conservatory should be a comfortable temperature all year long. Solarguard limits the potential for heat build-up within the conservatory, whilst allowing light to enter through the roof. It effectively deflects solar radiation and reduces solar heat gain by up to 50% more than conventional polycarbonates.

Solarguard also limits glare and reduces exposure to UV rays dramatically – good news for who like to limit their time in direct sunlight.
