This entrance has been completely refreshed with the installation of a Solidor Ludlow 2, bringing a clean, confident look to the front of the home while still keeping a warm and inviting feel. Before, the entrance lacked that sense of presence you want from a front door – it did the job, but it didn’t really add to the overall appearance of the property or make much of a statement from the outside.
To change that, we installed a Solidor Ludlow 2 – a solid core composite door designed to combine strength, insulation and standout design in one. The difference is clear straight away, with a reassuring weight and quality you notice every time it’s used, alongside improved thermal performance that helps keep things comfortable inside. The Victorian glazed panels also play an important role, allowing soft natural light to filter through while still maintaining privacy, making the entrance feel brighter and more welcoming throughout the day.
Visually, everything comes together effortlessly. The anthracite grey finish creates a modern contrast against the exterior, while the moulded detailing adds depth and a more refined, crafted look. The chrome furniture – including the handle, knocker and letterplate – introduces a crisp finishing touch, tying the whole installation together and leaving an entrance that feels smarter, stronger and far more considered.
