This conservatory has gone from being a room used occasionally to a space our client can enjoy every day.
The original glass roof made the room uncomfortable for much of the year. It quickly became too warm in summer and struggled to hold heat in colder months. Our client wanted a solution that would improve comfort without losing the natural light that made the space so appealing.
A Guardian Warm Roof delivered exactly that. Finished with Tapco Pewter Grey slate tiles, the new roof greatly improves insulation while giving the conservatory a more solid, permanent feel that blends neatly with the rest of the home.
To ensure the room stayed bright, we installed two skylights within the roof design, allowing daylight to flow naturally through the space. Inside, discreet spotlights were fitted to provide soft, practical lighting in the evenings, making the room just as usable after dark.
The transformation was completed with Kömmerling uPVC windows and French doors in white, inside and out. The result is a warm, quiet, and comfortable space that now fits naturally into everyday living, whatever the season.
