We’re fortunate to work on some truly beautiful homes, and this stone cottage in the High Peak was no exception. Our client wanted to update the windows and back doors while preserving the cottage’s charm.
The Residence Collection’s R7 windows and doors were a perfect fit for the project. Their flush exterior and interior finish added a wonderful sense of harmony to the home.
To brighten up the interior, the owners opted to forgo the Georgian bars on the original windows, allowing more natural light to flood in. Instead of white, they chose Painswick for the exterior of the frames, creating a softer, more complementary look that blends beautifully with the traditional stonework.
