The Perfect Solution, Inside and Out
The Guardian™ Warm Roof range is designed with every house type in mind, and the external tile options are no different. Choose from individual lightweight tiles by Guardian™ or Tapco, or the beautiful coated finish of Metrotile. Charcoal, Brick Red, Plum, and Moss Green are just some of the colours available. On the inside, choose from a smoother plaster finish or timber cladding, as well as LED spotlights and Velux roof windows. Many of these options are available to be seen in our showroom 7 days a week.
GuardianTM Roof Slate
GuardianTM now produces a unique and fully guaranteed slate. It has been fully tested and approved, and is designed and manufactured by GuardianTM. The slate has been specifically created for the Guardian™ Warm Roof lightweight room system and, unlike natural slate, it won’t break or crack and it doesn’t become brittle or dangerously sharp. So you enjoy all the benefits of the handsome appearance of natural slate, in a very flexible and environmentally friendly package. This is the number one choice for most homeowners.
Tapco Roof Slate
Tapco Slate has the random texture and rough edges that are associated with natural slate. In fact, even close-up they do look remarkably realistic. They are incredibly lightweight (12kgs/sq metre), strong, durable and totally recyclable.
Tapco comes in a range of typical slate colours to match and compliment your home. With excellent weathering qualities and authentic characteristics, Tapco Slate is a very popular choice. All these roofs come with a limited lifetime warranty and are BBA certified.
Metrotile is an ideal partner for the GuardianTM Warm Roof design and is perfect as a replacement for your replacement conservatory roof. The Metrotile shingle has many qualities for both appearance and performance but best of all is the effectiveness within the home environment. The colour choice means that Metrotile can match or compliment virtually any house style.

Velux Roof Windows
One of the joys of owning a conservatory is the light, airy atmosphere that it creates. A typical conservatory is already very light, but if you really do want the best of both worlds then we recommend a roof window (or possibly two). These modern products are very practical and give you an alternative option for ventilation as well as the added amount of light that they give the room. Double glazed for sound and heat protection, they are a great option to consider.
Because the ceiling of a conservatory is typically angled and high, the interior space is often light and airy. Whether you choose roof windows or not, our skilled plasterers will finish your ceiling with a beautiful smooth texture ready for painting. We can even decorate it for you if you like!
Timber Interior Finish
Because we are removing your old roof and installing a completely new lightweight, insulated roof you’ll have a wide choice of interior finishes. One popular choice is timber. It’s amazing how the wooden ceiling completely changes the character of the room and creates a log cabin effect which you can then develop with your own choice of furnishings, lighting, interior ornaments and art.
LED Spot Lights
Lighting can certainly affect the atmosphere and ambiance of a room, especially if your new conservatory will be a multi-use environment. We thoroughly recommend LED lighting: choose to have as many individual down-lights as you like, plus you can include dimmer switches or even have more than one switch to alter the number of lights that are on at any one time.
Velux Roof Windows
One of the joys of owning a conservatory is the light, airy atmosphere that it creates. There’s nothing nicer than sitting back and enjoying the view. A typical conservatory is already very light because of the excess of windows but if you really do want the best of both worlds then we recommend a roof window (or possibly two). These modern products are very practical and give you an alternative option for ventilation as well as the added amount of light that they give the room. Easy to use optional blinds and double glazed for sound and heat protection, they are a great option to consider.
